September Is The Peak Hiring Month Of The Year

You now likely have a peak of new employees joining your company. To mitigate risks to the company, many employers hire new employees on a “probationary” basis to give themselves a grace period and to assess the candidate’s suitability.  As an employer, do you know all the legal obligations and rights that come with a probationary period?  Do your workplace contracts and practices stand up to scrutiny by the courts or by legal counsel?  What are the pitfalls and hidden landmines in hiring with a probationary period?
