About the speakers:
Martin Kopp is an Account Manager with RBC’s Life Sciences and Health Services team which is part of Knowledge Based Industries (KBI). He works closely with early to late stage companies to help them grow their business through both acquisitions and organic means. Martin’s appreciation of the triple bottom line impact of the Life Sciences sector is supported by his knowledge of financial markets.
Martin earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in Management Economics, Industry and Finance from the University of Guelph and leverages over twelve years of banking experience ranging from investment and market analysis, global treasury solutions to commercial credit and banking.
Michael Rederer is an Account Manager with RBC specializing in the Knowledge Based Industry (KBI). Michael works closely with companies at the early stage of venture capital raises all the way to established companies that have moved beyond the venture capital stage. Michael’s focus is through relationship management and helping businesses grow through financial guidance and knowledge about commercial and business financing.
Michael has an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a minor in finance from Trent University. Michael has experience owning and operating a business as well as over 8 years of experience in the banking industry ranging from retail banking, small business and commercial banking.
Liliana Rizopulos is the owner and President of Liquid Capital Financial Services. She has extensive experience in providing financial solutions globally to a wide range of industries, including transportation, telecommunications, mining, and professional services. Prior to joining Liquid Capital, Liliana was a trusted advisor in international trade and finance at the Swedish Export Credit Agency, and before that, she worked in different multinational and financial institutions in the United States and Colombia, offering financial solutions and helping her clients succeed. Liliana holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and has a BSC in Finance and International Relations
