Anita Cassidy Officially Named Executive Director of Burlington Economic Development
Burlington Economic Development is pleased to announce the appointment of Anita Cassidy as Executive Director. Cassidy first joined Burlington Economic Development in 2011 and has since led a number of important projects. Since becoming Acting Executive Director in 2018, she has led Burlington Economic Development to a number of recent successes. Cassidy has and will continue to make partnership a top priority at Economic Development. Read more here.

Burlington-Based High Tech Imaging Company Receives $4 Million USD Investment
In early January, Lockheed Martin, an American global security and aerospace company, invested $4 million USD in PV Labs. This investment will allow the Burlington-based high tech imaging company to develop new products for their customers. Founded in 2017, PV Labs has grown from 25 employees to 45 and have plans to increase staff to 70 by the end of this year. Read more here.
City of Burlington Undertaking One Brand Project
The City is undertaking a rebranding project with the goal of creating a single, unified brand that reflects one city, one story. The new brand will be rooted in a strong brand promise that reflects our community and speaks to our residents, businesses, visitors, city staff, and the world. A project team comprised of the City of Burlington, Burlington Economic Development and Tourism Burlington has been formed to begin the development of this new city-wide brand for Burlington.
