TechPlace Welcomes GoWrench Auto as Newest LaunchPad Company

June 11th, 2018, Burlington, ON – TechPlace welcomes GoWrench Auto as their newest LaunchPad company. Hamilton native, GoWrench Auto is the eighth company to be accepted into the Launchpad program at TechPlace and began their residency on May 30th.
Founded in 2015 by Joshua Lombardo-Bottema, GoWrench Auto aims to make automotive services more accessible for everyone by using an online booking service. GoWrench Auto provides all the service of an auto mechanic shop delivered directly to clients through online bookings. Their online booking platform not only allows clients to make bookings, but view upfront quotes and make payments. GoWrench Auto is dedicated to making the lives of their clients easier by removing the hassle of scheduling and time commitment of traditional mechanic shops.

GoWrench Auto recently raised $525,000 CDN in funding to financially assist the company during commercialization. The GoWrench Auto team will occupy a designated section of hot desks until August 2018, when they will transition into a newly vacant LaunchPad office.
